TV Trivia Contest Rules

This is the page where Vince Daniels and Paul Andrews test and reward your knowledge of the characters, images, sounds and stories behind the unforgettable (and sometimes forgotten) icons of television, as they honor almost 70 years of this powerful medium and its memories.

They make it easy for you to win! Just check back here most Monday mornings for their latest trivia question. Sometimes it will be a straight question and other times the question will be based on a TV theme song that you'll need to identify.

You never know what kind of prizes you'll win. It can be $10 gift cards to some of your favorite hangout's like Pinkberry's Yogurt, Starbucks, Coldstone Creamery or Jamba Juice. They might ask a harder question and offer $25 movie passes. They can even make the questions really difficult and offer cash or other treasures from their vast trove of prizes.

All you have to do is be the first to send an e-mail with the correct answer to: Contest@DNARadioShow.com If you forget to log-on here on Mondays, then you need to be on our e-blast list. We send them out early Friday mornings. Send a note saying: "Hey, put me on your e-blast list." Please include your first and your last name (and of course your e-mail address) care of the above address. Winners will be announced the next day on the show!

KCAA employees, DNA hosts, contributors and their family members are ineligable. Only one winner per household please. You are only allowed to win cash and prizes once every eight weeks.

Congratulations Caroline Adams and Stan Hall!

From left are Dwayne Hickman, Ann B. Davis, and William Conrad

Back on June 12th, Paul Andrews asked listeners to name two actors (one male and one female) who began their careers in this one situation comedy series that involved a womanizing photographer, later to become famous for other regular roles in television series that gained substantial popularity? (Hint: one was an employee of a family and an integral part of the home and one was a philosophizing teenager).

The series that Paul was referring to was The Bob Cummings Show, "Love That Bob." Caroline Adams of Moreno Valley, CA correctly idenified the male actor from that show as Dwayne Hickman, who played Chuck MacDonald and would later go on to star in Dobie Gillis. She also guessed correctly the female actress in that show, who was Ann B. Davis who played Schultzy and later played Alice on "The Brady Bunch." Between the $25 dollar movie pass and the $25 dollar gas card, Caroline chose the Chevron Gas card. Congratulations!

On June 19th Vinnie and Paul wanted to welcome their new Texas listeners by having a call-in trivia contest. The question was who originally played the role of Marshall Matt Dillon on the radio version of "Gunsmoke?" The answer: William Conrad (pictured above-right). Congratulations to Stan Hall of Clovis, CA was the first to call with the correct answer. He won a $15 gift certificate good at any Starbucks.

On July 10th, Paul returns to The DNA Radio Show with a new trivia question. Likely he'll have another opportunity for you to call in and win. Get ready to dial! Hope you have fast fingers.
